ABOUT THIS PROJECT

This project was done for the owner / real estate company to convince buyers that this property was worth the investment, that this house has a huge potential. The interior design project consists of three layout options for any taste and size of the family.

This house has been on the market for over a year and there hasn't been even one offer. During this year there have been two price reductions and even though properties in that area are going for almost double - this one doesn't seem to interest any potential buyer. There are two options left for a fixer-upper like this that could help push the sale - 1. invest in renovation or 2. invest in a few 3D interior design concepts to help potential buyer understand what the finished product is going to look like. In addition, these options are going to be priced by the contractor to give a complete picture of the price.

"Before"
Existing layout is very dark and enclosed. All common areas are separated by walls and angles in the layout.

"After" Option 1
Open floor plan - kitchen, living room, and dining create one big space for the family to interact in the evening or entertain guests on the weekend. Big kitchen with pantry cabinets on the side and an enormous island. Master suite was upgraded with a walk-in closet, and double sink vanity in the en-suite bathroom is updated and with built-in cabinets, tile behind is one of the trendiest patterns, and inside the walk-in shower was used white marble.

"After" Option 2
This option is equipped with a smaller kitchen and instead has a bigger living room with a marble wall fireplace and dining table right in front of the folding doors leading to the backyard and pool. L-shaped kitchen with an island and a breakfast nook.

"After" Option 3
In this option living room is located closer to the folding doors leading to the backyard and pool. Big perimeter kitchen with a built-in bench for the breakfast table. Master bathroom gets a bigger footprint and now has a soaking bathtub as well as a walk-in shower and a double-sink vanity.
